To get the most flavor and color into your dish you need to caramelize. In a nutshell, caramelization is the process by which sugars react in the presence of high heat. The result: your food is beautifully browned and deeply flavored. This is a very easy process, but you do need to be careful and not burn your food.
What you need
- Sauté pan
- Oil
- Whatever food you want caramelized

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
·Sauté pan
·Oil
·Whatever food you want caramelized
- Heat the pan first, around medium to high heat.
- Then you add your oil to a warm pan. Once the oil is in the pan, it’s time to add your food.
- Cook slowly and stir frequently as this will bring out the natural sugars and flavor in the food.
